What documentation does my dog need to travel from the UK to Europe?
Since Brexit, dogs travelling from the UK to EU countries require an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) issued by an Official Veterinarian no more than 10 days before departure. Your dog must also be microchipped and have a valid rabies vaccination. Some countries may require additional treatments such as tapeworm treatment (Echinococcus). Always check the specific entry rules for your destination country.
How do I transport a cat from the UK to Spain?
Cats travelling from the UK to Spain need a microchip, a valid rabies vaccination recorded after microchipping, and an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) issued within 10 days of travel. Is road transport or air transport better for my pet?
Road transport is generally considered less stressful for most pets, particularly dogs and cats. There are no pressurisation changes, no separation from a human carer for long periods, and regular comfort stops. How far in advance should I book pet transport?
